- Jumpers for the LPS105S:
-
- SS = Self Seek Test (Off = Disabled <default>)
- (On = Self Seek Enabled (For factory use only!)
- EP = Partity Checking (Off = Disabled)
- (On = Enabled. Drive generates parity info and
- performs partity checking of data across the
- SCSI-bus <default>).
- WS = Wait Spin (Off = Drive motor power is applied when system-
- power is applied to the computer <default>).
- (On = Enabled. Drive motor power is applied when
- the host sends a START/STOP UNIT command.)
- A0 = Off \
- A1 = On > SCSI-ID. Default = 6 (A1 and A2 jumpered)
- A2 = On /
-
- SCSI-ID A0 A1 A2
- 0 Off Off Off
- 1 On Off Off
- 2 Off On Off
- 3 On On Off
- 4 Off Off On
- 5 On Off On
- 6 Off On On
- 7 On On On
-
- Termination of the drive is determined by whether the resistor-pack
- network terminator are mounted/inserted or not (either 2 or 3 packs
- just behind the 50 pins SCSI-connector.

- Whenever you have addional questions or need additional information,
- I would advise you to look at the www page of quantum:

- This is not possible for people living outside the USA (Harald seems
- to live in Norway, which is in Europe), since 1-800 numbers are only
- available to USA-citizens! Please remember this next time! Thank you.
-
- BTW. Harald asked to sent the replies by Email to someone else (i.e.
- no follow-up in the newsgroup).
